Designed packaging and layout of fiber-optic based triggering instruments for disarming nuclear warheads. Controlled the impedance using micro-strip and other high-speed digital design methods. Designed sheet metal enclosures, front and rear panels, silkscreen and finish. Handled enclosure fabrication, printed circuit card (PCB) fabrication, and final assembly. Delivered 12-channel and 4-channel rack mount units and one tabletop unit completely assembled and ready to use. Involved some electronic circuit design, schematics, printed circuit card (PCB) layout and mechanical engineering.
